So, recently the sec2s and sec3s went to Jurong Christian Church for badgework and they took care of kids from Shuqun Primary School as they're camping there! The girls went on the second day of their camp and some of the girls taught the kids how to bake cookies and honeycornflakes which was really delicious and there will be sales of it on coming Monday!
We had dinner and facilitated the kids for games until late 10pm, we were very sorry to have disturb the neighboring residents and yup, we really had a great time spending time with the kids.
DINNER!

Hi girls ! Today is our big day . YES! It's the day for CCA fair 2013 , we were all exhausted but i'm sure we had a great time today. We waited so long for this day , all the booth decorations , advertising flyers and those pretty gifts were actually prepared by our dearest Sec3s but i'm sure all of this wouldn't be possible without the help of our Sec2s and Sec4s. Really grateful for this day and thankful for some of the officers and helpers who took time from their Saturday morning and came down to school to help us with the booth and advertising when they could actually sleep in at home.
And though the Fancy Drill didn't really go as planned , i hope that this would be a lesson to some of us and we should really reflect on what happened. I'm not sure for some of you but i'm determined to work harder for this coming year end's Fancy Drill for 2014 ! It's good to plan ahead right?
Would really thank the BB boys for helping us promote GB and also we helped them promoted BB , hope 9thcoy would get lots of Sec1s this year!
And if any Sec1s who came to see this blog , please join Girls' Brigade ! I'm sure you wouldn't regret!
Thankyou MissSheridin and Jaslene for the nicely taken photos! Enjoy them below!

Hello girls! Peilin here! I would like to share some of the thoughts of our Sec2 girls regarding Girls' Brigade as they had been in Girls' Brigade for almost a year since 2012 ! Have a great time reading this post (-:

I join gb because the fancy drill is so nice and it look fun:) GB people are very friendly. Lastly we are bonded together.
-Yilin

I join gb because of the fancy drills. Gb is a very fun cca to be in. We are different from other cca because we are a all girls cca and we are bonded unlike other cca even though when they are all girls.
-Sharlene

What i think about GB is that it is fun and enjoyable as we play a lots of games and what made me joined GB is that I think by choosing GB as my cca is a right choice as it really nice and we have made friends from different levels and classes. They work like a big family ,when someone have any problems they try their best to solve the problem. In GB have a lot of projectwork like batchwork and we can learn different new things like first aid course and i feel GB drills are nice and tidy !
-Sharon

I think GB as a unique CCA, because we are the only all girls uniform group and we get to learn discipline and especially learn to become leaders. I joined this CCA because GB teaches Christianity, we are all girls and it seemed interesting and engaging. Although we frequently have to do drills, after a while, you will find that it is quite fun in the process of trying to perfect it. I also get to make friends with girls from sec 1 to 4s and get opportunities to participate in workshops and help out in the community. I'm glad GB is my CCA!
-Audrey

And that's all! Hopefully the girls that would be joining Gb in the year ahead would enjoy being in Gb like how the Sec2s did ! Even though some of their reflections were quite short , I think this are their heartfelt words ! :-)
There would be a new blogskin soon! Stay tune!

wahaha ! 14 JAN 2012: CCA FAIR.
Awesome Fancy Drill !! This year, is our first time using SO MANY girls in fancy drill and SO MANY fancy steps. The process was hard and tiring but we made it ! When everybody thought we can't, we've prove them wrong ! When everyone thought we would fail, it was wrong!! When we ourselves start to lose faith it was SOSO disappointing but eventually we still did it !!! <3
There was joy as well as unhappiness in this whole process of planning for cca fair. There were disagreement but fun moments too!! All the hard work were paid off today ! I hope this whole fancy drill and cca fair bonded us together. Hopefully we continue to work together as one and show the world what GIRLS CAN DO !!! :B GIRLS' POWERRRRR .
Thankful for all the sec 3s for doing such an awesome job in planning for the whole cca fair <3
I really appreciate ALL the time you've spent in planning. I know it was SUPER TIRING and DISAPPOINTING at some moments . Probably felt like giving up but IM SUPER THANKFUL that you guys held on and continued with what you've been tasked to do ! <:
Thankful for all sec2s for being such supportive Juniors by staying back after practice to help out at the booth!! You guys just rock luh !! <:
Finally, thankful for all the sec4s and officers/helpers for guiding the juniors and teaching them fancy drill !! <: Thanks for spending time to help out in cca fair and for supporting me all these while too. <3 you all.

GB ROCKS

Love,
sheena TAN !! :P

Hello Girls. JIEYI here. :) How's school? It is the new year already. Happy New Year and have faith in yourselves.

I have Camp Refelections from the Sec2 girls to share with everyone. It is about last year's fun camp. :) And erhem, I edited some english grammatical errors. :P

RouJin
Fun Camp 2011 was an amazing one. We had an adventure trip at Bedok Reservoir. It was super fun. We tried all the obstacles that includes flying fox, tarzan jump, walking on logs and many more! I had overcome my fear after I tried the tarzan jump. The girls before me said that it was quite scary. During the fun camp, we've tried many different things that we have not tried before. Baking was one of them. It was interesting as we made pop cakes and molten cakes. I bet not many have tried this kind of things. Then at night, we had a barbecue session. I think it was my first time barbecuing as all the other BBQ party I went, the food were barbecued for us. So that night we barbecued chicken, marshmallow, satay and even mushrooms, by ourselves! I really enjoyed myself throughout the camp. And as for the activity I enjoyed most, it was the night walk. It was held in the AVA room. Although it wasn't scary, but there were numerous sudden screams that shocked me. Overall, this was one of the most enjoyable camp I had. :)

Peilin
Even though I only join camp on the second day due to fever, I still had much fun! I really bonded with the girls and especially my group members . They really took care of me and we had much fun together. The night walk was fun and abit scary but I had my friends so I wasn’t afraid (: and I know that the ‘ghosts’ are my friends! Comforting those who were scared made us felt more mature and grown up. Cleaning up, eating, sleeping together really made us a one big family! I wish for more camp in GB soon (:

Jiemin
My very first Fun Camp with Gb 9th coy was fun and enriching with all the adventures and baking. I picked up skills and they added up to my original courage. I appreciate the seniors, officers and teachers for coming back to accompany us throughout the camp. I always think I am not capable of doing much but now I have learnt about my strengths. During baking, I have learnt to be patient and listening to instructions is very important as if we don’t practice them, our cake pops and molten cakes would be a failure! Thinking back, the camp had make my three days two nights a fruitful one. Make a better camp next year!

HuiShi
Hello, Huishi here! :-) I found that the fun camp was really fun! Especially the flying fox and everything because it was very adventurous and I haven't tried it before. It was a brand new experience! ^^ I also managed to learn how to make your own BBQ pit indoors and normally I wouldn't even help in BBQ-ING stuffs but however i got the chance to BBQ satay myself! It was really tiring and the smoke keep getting into my eyes but however it was memorable! I really learnt lots of stuffs through the fun camp and also had fun!

Well, that's 4 girls in total, but I will post the rest of the reflections as time passes. ;) <3
